Unfortunately 'only' on a temporary licence for the duration of August it's been a great experience one I could quite easily get more confident with and expand on. The Station is back on air EASTER 2009 with a view of permanent transmission sometime during the year.

Sun 3rd August. Great start kicked off with IM ONLY SLEEPING by SUGGS and moved into some easy sounds BREAKFAST IN BED/LORNA BENNETT, MISTRY BABYLON BY THE HEPTONES, CUPID JOHNNY NASH, MONEY IN MY POCKET DENNIS BROWN for some early morning tasters. Then smoothed into some Skinhead Reggae CLANCEY ECCLES Fattie Fattie, BYRON LEE Simmer Down, Jamacian Ska, ALTON ELLIS Dance Crasher, Plenty of PRINCE BUSTER including 10 commandments, JIMMY CLIFF and many more. Then some newer Reggae with ASWAD, UB40, EDDIE GRANT, CHAKD DEMUS and finishing up with some 2 TONE obscures/classics and THE DANGERMEN! It was nice to play some DUALERS and AGGROLITES which are 2 of my favourite newer bands. AMY WHINEHOUSES version of Monkey Man followed by TOOTS 54 -46 was a good cross over SOOTIE IS A RUDIE (THE LOAFERS) the start of things to come.
